This app is a great replacement for the pre-installed music player. UI is pretty user friendly and looks awesome. If I can access to the app via to control center like Spotify, this app would be perfect.

Great UI but has sever bug regarding SQ. Its like a small amount of reverb is added - it doesnt sound like Apples music app. You can especially hear this listening to acoustic guitar. Whats more it crashes if you switch from music app to Ecoute. For now only 2 stars, but if it will be fixed then definitely 5.

My favorite music player on iOS.

New iOS 7-style interface is simply horrible. Zero usability, small covers everywhere, small covers in player view, strange navigation and interface, slow and annoying animations on every step. Wow. Really, really, really bad... Its so bad actually, that stock iOS 7 player from Apple (which is a separate horror story) is now looking pretty sweet ;| So Im back to stock player and CanOpener. Guys, you really let everyone down on this one :/

Add rating to additional menu ( ... 3 dot menu)

With iOS 7.1 Ecoute is the only player left for iPhone that makes sense. Great app! Developers! Please add support for tracks with several coverarts and display of year of an album and your awesome app will become just priceless!:)

Please add option to remove artworks corner radius and fix sluggish grid view scroll animation.

I havent updated ecoute for a long period of time mostly because I didn’t like interface changes in 2.0 version. And recently I thought that I was on 1.2.5 version for too long, maybe I should give new version a try. I installed 2.3.1. That was a grave mistake. Now the player is COMPLETELY UNUSABLE, every time I try to open an album or a playlist it crashes. :-( Please fix it.

Everything is cool but please add display of album years and sort by year inside artist page. And add option to change recently added playlist view to albums not only songs.

Excellent app, but since it shows all the playlists in a flat way, without respecting their original nested structure, it is sort of useless for me :-(

The best music client available on the AppStore. It has great features Music.app should have by default but it is still missing. The UI and UX are amazing.

Gestures, Airplay and tons of features. Recommended.

The app is great but it can be a tad buggy also I think there should have been a tutorial about how to go from album back to home library screen you double tap do get this black screen of nothing and tap once to go back to library

Really enjoying the app, especially the large album cover (grid) view allowing me to visually interact with my music. Id love to consistently see the grid view used so I could select a genre and then see the artists of that genre in the larger grid view (its now a list), and then selecting an artist see their albums in grid view.

I agree with others that the Apple music app has lost its way and I found this to a preferred alternative. I didnt rate this as five stars because the up next widget seems to developed a recent problem and the clock icon doesnt make sense to edit a play list. I was expecting a clock icon to be a countdown sleep timer found in other apps. Correct these minor issues and this would be 5 star app.

I bought this when Apple "upgraded" their music player to one big sloppy mess. Its definitely the better of the two by far. Plays tunes straight from my music library with all the playlists intact. There are TWO major improvements that would make this app 5 star. 1. The shuffle UI is horrid. You cant tell whether things are being shuffled or not! Its confusing and frustrating. There is a buried setting to find out for sure but what a pain! 2. It doesnt let you play all albums of one artist. Other than those, its awesome.

Amazingly elegant music app, much more usable and engaging than Apple’s own. For all those frustrated with Apple Music, try this app, it will change your experience dramatically for the better. Highly recommend!
