My iCloud music player of choice.

I would like the ability to see artist view by list, not by photo...kind of like how you do it for the song list.

The “shuffle” command doesn’t show you the current shuffle setting. So you click again and again to try to work out what the current setting is - all the while, it’s changing the song you’re on. It’s hard to get to a screen where you have all of the songs in the album you’re in. The thumbnail view isn’t helpful when filtered by Artist as there’s a one-many relationship. Text would be better.

As soon as I opened this app I smiled and recalled how it used to be fun to play music in IOS. The latest Apple Music App had me resenting ever buying into their ecosystem years ago with the horribly cluttered interface and Apple Music ad that popped when trying to access my music (how dare you Apple!). Anyway, this isnt the place to rant further about Apple Music...though its hard to resist. I was actually thinking about jumping ship to an alternate streaming service just to duplicate my purchased library. Then I woke up and realized, its the rotten player, dummy! Thanks for making this app! A couple things to make it the ultimate player would be landscape mode and cross fading. Thanks again!

Ecoute is good. Cesium is better and more like the old iTunes before Apple decided that they were smarter than shoved Apple music down our throats.

Been searching for an alternative to Apples default app that would just let me play my large CD collection. Ecoute looks like a good choice. I initially couldnt find a way to quickly navigate a large library, but I accidentally discovered search and what Ill call "speed scrolling," which is a bit cumbersome but maybe Ill get used to it. They should make these library navigation features easier to find.

Much better than the gross Apple Music app. Just wanted something to play my mp3s. Cant find any buttons to make a playlist?
