Maybe Im just clumsy, but this app is always shuffling songs. You can turn Shuffle off, of course, but every so often...aww, shuffle again?!

I ve been using this app for my iphone 5 for about a year and love it. But the same app on the ipad is a huge disappointment. I expected something like the native music app on the ipad under os 6. But ecoute does not use all the real estate of the ipad and the album art quality on the ipad is horrendous. Really hope they fix this, there is potential for a great app, what i want is a scrollable grid view with say 24 items per page and high quality album art when you are playing a specific album. Give us back something similar to the os 6 native music app and you have a winner!

Amazing App. This is the perfect music app. Great job. The only thing I would like is if you could add an iPad app. Im currently using the iPhone app on my iPad. Great app tho :D

The app is mostly fine, what it lacks is a landscape view mode. Disappointing!

I’ve tested nearly every low cost and free app on the app store by now…and nearly all were really disappointing. Ecoute does everything I want a music app to do, and does it better than the stock app. The stock app just doesn’t work in the car (shuffle and bluetooth don’t work well), but this app works perfectly well. Bonus - very usable too.

Its difficult getting back to the main grid screen. Sometimes requires 3 or 4 clicks in various places (on artwork and little left arrows in top left). Should be a quick easy way to get there so you can choose another album etc.

As a lover of classical music I was looking for an alternative to the iOS Music app, which in the past few years has adopted an extremely inefficient filtering system, especially for bigger libraries. Now the filtering portion of Ecoute is nice, with immediate access to the music I want. What I do not like, however, is that the album, track name and artist fields are truncated, and there seems to be no way to see the whole tags (in iOS Music app they are at least scrolling.) The other complaint is that the lyrics is displayed in very small characters, and it cannot be changed through the Accessibility features of iOS8. I would also prefer to have access to play/stop buttons when the lyrics is displayed. Should Ecoute adopt these features, I woould be happy to use them. SInce the Lagu app does not work with iOS8, I am currently without a totally satisfying music app.

Your music relegated to only one tab? Get your whole screen back, looks great so long as you have album art, acts as you would expect. Lets buy millions and the developer can make this even better.

Might be ok for the iPhone, but its practically unusable on the iPad. Dont waste your money.

Was extremely frustrated with the iTunes upgrade and needed an app that is user friendly and basically operate logically! Ecoute does all of that and more! I no longer need to click create a million playlist just to play genres or what I want to listen to! Great app and definitely does what Apple failed to do!!!

I like Ecoute although Im not a heavy audio user. It works fine but Im not sure if its that much better or worse than the Apple music app. I have been experiencing some heavy battery drain recently after the iOS 9 upgrade and found two things : 1) Ecoute will continue to play even though I flicked it closed. 2) Ecoute uses 20-30% more CPU cycles than the Apple music app. Im not sure if the battery drain is entirely Ecoutes fault but when you think an app is closed and it keeps on working its certainly part of the problem.

It doesnt matter what song I select in my library to play. Only the very first song plays. Ive tried free music players and this issue is in none of them. Very disappointed in this app.

Great replacement for Apples Music App. This is a "No-Fuss" app that does what it should. Play my music with "easy-to-get-to" controls. Not like the bloated Music App that Apple now offers. I just started listening to my music again. THANK YOU !

Love this app, but an equalizer would be really nice, I like to have full control over my sound

If it decides it doesnt like a song it will skip over it and only deleting the song and re adding it will allow it work(could be iTunes issues though). Other glitches: if youre say a minute into a song and skip to the next song itll start at the same position in that song (a minute in). Way easier to use than iTunes: shuffle/repeat etc are easy to find and use). Id like to edit playlists but have to switch over to iTunes to do that). Viewing the entire album instead of the current song requires you to tap and hold the album art and tap again- a pain if youre on the move. Same with switching from album/artist/playlist/genre categories- instead of having them ready at the bottom you have to go thru a bunch of tapping. A recently added filter would be nice. Overall a good app with a couple quirks and easier and quicker to use than iTunes.

Finally a fast efficient way to play music on my device. The iTunes music app has become a bloated piece of crap with an interface that ignores design basics. I was glad to pay money for something that works much better for me.

Love: UI, Last.fm scrobbling, ability to customize Upcoming songs. Problematic: - App will sometimes disconnect from Last.fm settings when switching between wifi and data. - Clicking iPhone lock button or home button after rearranging upcoming songs sometimes cuts out playing song or shuffles the entire upcoming song list, rendering original rearrangement useless. Very frustrating. Love this app but for those issues. Please fix them!

I cant connect to Twitter from this app on ios8.
